 | For thousands of years after it's bitter destruction, the Moon Kingdom was a forgotten existence -- never remembered, never thought of. It's majestic era became nothing but grim ruins on the moon. Then, a small memory was evoked in the heart of a small black cat named Luna. The evil forces, still lead by Queen Beryl and Queen Metallia, had awakened once again and resumed their quest for control. Although only a very small portion of memories were restored, Luna knew her mission. She must find the princess and the Sailor Senshi, who were now reborn as Earth children, to defeat the enemies. |  | Luna's first finding was the senshi Sailormoon, in an unlikely girl, Usagi Tsukino. Usagi's excitement of being like the famous crimefighter and movie star, Sailor V, quickly faded into fright when she realized she really would be Sailormoon. Usagi was not happy with this realization, and was even more upset once the battles began. She eventually became used to her new identity, although she was still quite a coward during fights. |
| During Sailormoon's first combat with the enemy, a strange caped man appeared to assist her. He called himself Tuxedo Mask, and told Sailormoon that he would always be there to help her. This proved to be true as he continually saved her from countless predicaments. He too was looking for the moon princess, the only key to his forgotten past. |  | | Luckily for Luna, Sailormercury and Sailormars were found quickly. When Luna first met Sailormars' human identity, she thought the girl might be the princess. However, they quickly discovered that she was the soldier of Mars. Both of the new senshi adapted to their roles quickly and fought with determination. |  |
 | Their search for the princess was lengthened as the Sailor Senshi continued to fight Queen Beryl's generals. After some time, a fourth senshi was discovered, the soldier of Jupiter. Sailorjupiter quickly became a strong fighter and a great asset to the Sailor Senshi team. |
 | After many battles, the senshi had successfully defeated two of Beryl's generals. During a hopeless battle against the remaining two, the senshi were about to be crushed while encased in a shrinking dome being controlled by the general Kunzite. Even Tuxedo Mask could not save Sailormoon now. Suddenly, a beam shot at Kunzite's hand, breaking his hold on the dome. The senshi were freed, and quickly looked for their rescuer. They saw a masked girl standing on a wall. |
| A white cat emerged, who Luna recognized as Artemis, the other cat advisor of Queen Serenity. He introduced the masked girl as Sailor V, and she leaped off the wall to the ground. She removed her mask and reintroduced herself as Sailor Venus, joining the others as part of the Sailor Senshi team. Sailormoon asked if she was the moon princess they were looking for, and Sailor Venus just smiled. |  |
