Minako Aino's (Mee-nah-koh Ah-ee-noh) family name has the Japanese character for love, "ai." Minako is just as clutzy and ditzy as Usagi... if not more. She's a sweet and lovable character. She likes to have fun and is always willing to skip the girls' study group and chase guys. Minako has great dreams of becoming a star, and in the SailorStars season, she proves she has what it takes in a scout contest! |  | Minako is dedicated to being a Senshi, but being a normal teenager, there was a time when she wanted out. In episode 100, Minako thought about quiting being a Sailor Senshi. She was talking with Artemis, wishing that someone would walk up to her with roses and ask her to go out. He said that wouldn't happen. Later she was talking to a friend about her old volleyball days (she used to be very good). He thought she should keep it up, and asked her why she didn't. She just said she had other things to do. |  | Afterwards when the girls were supposed to be studying, Minako was reading manga. She said to the girls that sometimes she was bad, and maybe she would quit being a Sailor Senshi. The others were shocked. Later Minako saw the boy she had talked with earlier about volleyball, and his girlfriend. Then the enemy's monster attacked him. She transformed and attacked the monster. Eventually the other senshi came, and Sailormoon destroyed the monster. Sailorvenus realized that there were somethings only she could protect, and being a Sailor Senshi was an important job. Later as Minako was walking, Artemis called to her from a tree. He threw roses down to her and asked her if she would like to go out (like Minako said she wished for at the beginning of the episode! Very sweet!!). |  | In the Sailor V manga we see how Minako comes to wear her ever present red bow. It seems a guy she liked told her it would look nice. Come to find out, the guy was an enemy.
Minako attends Shibakouen Junior High School until the girls take the admissions exams for Juuban High School. The girls are excited when Minako is able to attend the same school as them. Once in high school, Minako joins the volleyball team. ^_^ |  |
 | Sailorvenus is the leader out of the group of Jupiter, Mercury and Mars. She must take charge when Sailormoon isn't there to lead them. Sailorvenus was the fifth senshi to arrive. However, she was actually the first Sailor Senshi, as she was Sailor V fighting crime before she joined up with the rest of the group. In the anime, she was England's Sailor V, fighting crime in London. |  | There she fell in love with an older boy named Alan. She was also good friends with a policewoman named Katarina. At one point there was an explosion when Sailor V was there. Katarina thought Sailor V had died. Sailor V was making her way back to Katarina and Alan, when she saw them together. It was then that she realized that the two loved each other. Figuring she was in their way, Sailor V let them believe she was dead and came to Tokyo to join the other Sailor Senshi. |

 |  |  | Sailorvenus' first attack was her Crescent Beam attack. With this, she shot a beam of light at the enemy.
| Venus' second attack was the Venus Love-me Chain, where she sent a chain of hearts at the enemy.
| Her final attack was used as Super Sailorvenus. With her Love & Beauty Shock, she makes a heart appear with a kiss and then sends it flying at the enemy. | |
