| In Volume 3, the senshi travel to the moon to learn of their past. Upon returning, they meet the evil Mamoru, or "Endou". Finally, they come to a battle with Queen Metallia, and will sacrifice everything to defeat her! |
Act 10: Moon.
Usagi is upset because Mamoru was taken by the Dark Kingdom. Luna tells them that they will go to the moon to unlock the mysteries surrounding their past. The senshi use their powers to transport to the moon during a night of the full moon. There they find the ruins of the moon castle and it's sanctuary. There is a sword in the ground, which Luna tells the senshi (minus Moon) to pull out. When they do, a small figure appears which is revealed to be Queen Serenity. She tells them that it is just an image of her will, because her body was destroyed.
She goes on to recall bits of the past, such as the princess running off to Earth to see her love, Prince Endymion. The moon kingdom had watched over the Earth to observe it and help it's evolution. Then an evil force came and tricked the humans of Earth, who wanted the long life that the moon kingdom enjoyed. With the humans, the evil attacked the moon, wanting the power of the mystical silver crystal. Prince Endymion was the only one who was not persuaded, and was stabbed while protecting Princess Serenity. Devastated, the princess used the sword and took her own life as well. The moon kingdom and the kingdom of Earth were destroyed, and evolution started over on Earth. The Queen used the crystal to seal away the evil, but weak from sorrow, she could not make the seal strong enough. The queen then tells the princess that she must use the power of the crystal to seal it away for good. Sailorvenus tells the queen that some of the crystal was absorbed into the body of Endymion. The queen looks at Sailormoon and says that her eyes are uncertain, and that she must be worried about Endymion. She tells her that he must be safe. Then the image tells Serenity that the power of the crystal depends on her, and tells the senshi to protect the princess. The image then fades away. They return to the Earth as morning arrives. Usagi looks around and thinks to herself that on the Moon Kingdom, they weren't observing this planet, but were dreaming for a planet like Earth.
In the Dark Kingdom, Kunzite is looking at the stones that were once Jadeite, Nephrite and Zoisite. Kunzite sees Queen Beryl walk past him down the hall. He follows her until she reaches a great doorway underground. The room fills with gas and a figure begins to form out of dark energy. Kunzite sees it and runs from the room. Beryl tells Queen Metallia that Tuxedo Mask absorbed some of the crystal. Metallia tells Beryl she should be trying to destroy the moon princess now that she has fully awakened. Queen Beryl states that Kunzite will probably not be with them much longer, and that Tuxedo Mask's body will be of use to them.
Queen Beryl tells Kunzite to attack some humans so that the princess will appear, and then steal the silver crystal. He begins to turn Tokyo and it's people into ice, when the senshi arrive. Sailormoon uses her moon stick to return everything to normal. Kunzite tries to grab the silver crystal from her, but she holds it and flies into the air. She climbs until she is in outer space, and then Kunzite reaches her. The senshi arrive and tell her to make a shield with her stick, but she wants to know about Mamoru before they destroy Kunzite. The others use the planet attack on Kunzite, and he disintegrates until all that remains is a stone.
Queen Beryl calls for the power to make Endymion's body awake, and he rises. He looks at the kunzite stone, and picks it up. When he does, the other 3 stones appear in his hand. Beryl then orders him to go and destroy the moon princess. He goes to the Crown Game Center in normal clothes and with dark eyes. | Act 11: Endymion.
Usagi is on her way to school when a man bumps into her and she drops Mamoru's pocket watch. From the back the man looks like Chiba Mamoru. She thinks that she must be seeing things. When she picks up the watch, it has started working again. The evil Endymion is waiting at the Crown Game Center when Motoki and his friend Endou walk up. Motoki says that he looks familiar and asks if he has been with Usagi. Endymion says that he is here on business. He vaporizes Endou and then hypnotizes Andrew to believe that Endymion is Endou, his best friend.
Usagi is happy because today she gets to go to Ami's home, even though it's for a meeting about the stone sword. When they arrive, Minako trips and scratches the marble floor with the sword. Ami says that it is ok, and holds up a diamond ring. She states that it is the hardest thing in the world, and asks Minako if she can scratch it with the sword. Minako taps the diamond, and chips some of it off. Ami says that the sword is an unknown substance that is extremely strong and highly toxic. Soon they find Usagi sleeping on the couch, so they bring her into a bedroom and tuck her in bed. However, Usagi wakes up and sneeks out of the apartment. She says she wants to go beat the Sailor V game at the Crown Game Center. When she arrives, she sees the same strange man sitting in front of the Sailor V game. They are introduced to eachother, and he says that he is a freshman in college like Motoki. Usagi thinks that it can't be him if he's a college student. Endou then asks her to show him how to play the Sailor V game. Minako finds out that someone is clearing the Sailor V game very quickly, and runs into the bedroom to find Usagi missing. The girls run to the game center & see Usagi and Endou. They are suprised to see Chiba Mamoru, but Rei says that it is not him, and that Usagi should stay away.
Usagi continually goes to the Crown Game Center. When Endou and Motoki are walking to the game center, Makoto is there to greet them. She asks what they are planning with Usagi. The girls run to the command center and ask Makoto why she called them there. She tells Usagi that that guy is an enemy, and while Usagi is off guard, she tries to grab the silver crystal. Minako jumps and kicks Makoto to the ground. They hear Endou say that she almost had it, and see that he is dressed like Tuxedo Mask. Makoto says that she called them there under his power. The girls transform and begin fighting him. Queen Beryl appears behind him, and the girls wonder who she is. She scoffs at Sailormoon, asking if she doesn't remember her. Sailorvenus recognizes her from the past. She introduces herself as Queen Beryl, queen of the Dark Kingdom. She says that Endymion's body is working for Queen Metallia, like herself. Tuxedo Mask begins to blast. The building's roof is blown off and Motoki begins to moan, so Mercury and Jupiter transport him outside. Mercury calls for a super demensional space warp. Beryl and Tuxedo Mask are inside it, when Beryl wraps her hair around Sailormoon's throat, demanding to know the power of the mystical silver crystal. Venus calls for the stone sword, but it is too heavy for her. Sailorjupiter runs and grabs it, and slices Beryl's hair. The part around Moon's neck continues to choke her. Venus asks for strength from the moon and the silver millenium, then lifts the sword over her head. Sailorvenus plunges it into Queen Beryl's stomach. As it emerges the stone breaks off the sword, reveiling a brilliant shine. Beryl reaches her hand out to Tuxedo Mask as her body disintegrates. Her tiara hits the ground and she is gone. Venus reads an inscription on the sword, which Luna says opened the seal. Sailorvenus passes out on the ground. Tuxedo Mask grabs her and runs through a portal. Sailormoon runs after them, and the portal closes behind her. The girls look at the moniter and see that they are going north, and decide to follow them.
Sailormoon finally catches up with Tuxedo Mask, and sees Sailorvenus on the floor next the the sword. Tuxedo Mask goes over to her, and grabs her by the neck. He asks why the crystal gives no power, and what the power of the moon is. She reaches her hand out for the crystal in his hand, and it blasts her away from him. The others reach the castle of the Dark Kingdom, and see the other two senshi. Tuxedo Mask asks if the power in the crystal now is her power. Then a shape appears behind him. It is Queen Metallia. Tuxedo Mask blasts the senshi backwards. Luna comes out of no where and blocks his attack. She tells Sailormoon to get the absorbed part of the silver crystal out of him, and use the full crystal to defeat the enemy. Mars tries to use a anti-ghost sign on Metallia, but it doesn't work. Then Venus attacks Tuxedo Mask, but he blasts her away. Sailormoon tries the Moon Healing Escalation, but he blocks it. She starts to cry, asking if there is no way to return him, or if she will have to defeat him. Supersonic waves flow from her, and it causes the absorbed part of the crystal to join with the silver crystal. Tuxedo Mask then blasts at them with the power. Sailormoon stands up with tears in her eyes. She says she can't stand to see him like this, and questions if there is anything that she can do but this. As she jumps forward, she asks if this is their destiny even though they were reborn. She slices the sword across Tuxedo Mask's chest, kisses him for the last time, and plunges the sword into her own self. | Act12: Reincarnation.
The senshi watch Sailormoon's actions with horror. As the two lay on the floor, the crystal rises and forms a large crystal around them. Queen Metallia appears, and covers everything in darkness with the crystal. It goes to the surface and the girls follow. When they arrive all they see is stone ruins like that on the moon kingdom. The senshi attack, only to have the power consumed by Metallia.
Luna is still hurt, so they bring her to the command center with Artemis. Angry mobs appear on Earth, filled with hatred. In a last effort, the girls sacrifice their transformation pens. They throw them into the air, calling for the princess to awaken. The pens explode, throwing the senshi's bodies to the ground where they lie dead.
There is a flashback to when Venus caught Princess Serenity sneaking off to see Prince Endymion. She was angry because she thought it was dangerous for the princess. The princess sneaks off again, and Queen Beryl attacked. The prince and princess were killed, and Venus said that she knew it would end like this, with love crossing two planets. The queen sealed everything away and sent them to the future. Serenity said to Endymion that next time they will be born on the same planet, and asks the crystal to protect them and make them happy.
Sailormoon then awakens and the silver crystal appears before her. She touches her chest where she had stabbed herself, and finds Mamoru's pocket watch shattered. She cries as she sees that she is the only one alive. A tear falls onto the crystal, and it blooms like a flower.
She hears the mobs on the outside and realizes that they are inside Metallia. She asks the silver crystal to give her power to escape, and she finds Tuxedo Mask and herself above ground. She holds Tuxedo Mask's hand and it grows warmer. He awakens, and waves his hands in front of his face and says that he can't see. Metallia appears and Sailormoon tries to confine her. She wishes that she had the support of her allies to help her, and cries that she does not have the strength to do it alone. Tuxedo Mask says that he feels her pain, and will help her. He touches his chest and finds a shattered stone. Kunzite's figure appears before him and says that Metallia's weak point is the diamond symbol on it's forehead. Then the other generals appear and wish the two happiness this time. Tuxedo Mask goes to Sailormoon and tells her to attack it's forehead. Then he tells her not to cry because her allies are watching somewhere. Then he says that if she does not have enough strength, she can use his. Her power increases and Metallia says that she will still crush her. Sailormoon holds up the moon stick, and says with the power of the moon, she will seal her away!
